Bearded Dragon Care Sheet
Are Bearded Dragons Good Starter Pets: Yes, they are the most friendly and you can handle them the most.
What do they eat: As juveniles they eat mealworms and small crickets. As adults they eat pinkies, superworms, and large crickets.
Lifespan: 5-10+yrs
Breeding: If you have a male and a female in the same terrarium and you notice head bobbing and arm waving it is a sign that they are getting ready to breed. After breeding occurs, every 2-4 weeks for about 2-3 months a female beardie will lay 20-30 eggs. Make sure to have a incubator ready and many plastic bins about 6in long and 4 wide. Fill the plastic bins with 4parts vermiculite and 1part water. Do not turn the eggs or the embryo will die. You can find vermiculite at most gardening stores.
